GEMS educates all levels of EMS providers in skills and theory geared toward the elderly population. The GEMS curriculum may be offered at the core basic level or at the advanced level which expands on the core curriculum. The core curriculum is 8 hours of in-person training where the advanced curriculum is 8 hours of expansion on the core curriculum. GEMS Core is an in-person 8 hour course with a one hour lunch break. Students are asked to dress comfortably and bring their own lunch and drink, or funds to buy lunch.
The course registration fee is $200.00.
